Grand Saline Middle School Media Center

Mission Statement:
The Grand Saline Middle School Media Center promotes the love of reading and enables students to become life-long readers.  Students are encouraged to use  the essential skills of locating, evaluating, and using information for problem solving.  The library is the hub of the school and is an essential element in the school curriculum. 

Check Out Policy:
Students are allowed to check out 2 books.  Books are due back in 2 weeks, but students are encouraged to return them at any time to get another book.
Students are required to pay for lost or damaged books.  The student will be refunded if the book is returned in good condition.

Computer Usage:
The library supplies students with a complete computer lab.  The computer lab is to be used for electronic searching for research and for completion of technology projects.
Games, surfing, chat rooms, and e-mail are not allowed.

Food and drinks are not allowed in the library or computer lab.
