The Grand Saline Intermediate Library enhances students' ability to learn; assists them in becoming independent thinkers and problem solvers; and fosters a love of reading. It is a place where teachers and staff turn for ideas and materials. The resources are current, attractive and entertaining for the children and the collection continually evolves to be in accordance with the most recent state standards for intermediate school.

AR 100 Club
The Media center has sponsored an AR 100 Club contest with each class competing with the most 100 percent comprehension scores. The top classes to win were treated with a banana split party.
