Media Center

Mission Statement:
The Grand Saline Library Media Center enables students to develop a life-long love of reading and to acquire the essential skills of locating, evaluating, and using information for problem solving. The school library program is an integral part of the school curriculum. Each campus shares the vision of reading, teaching, and learning.

Our library staff strives each day to help students develop a love for reading. Books and other media enrich all areas of the curriculum. It gives the library staff tremendous satisfaction to assist their fellow teachers in bringing our children into an era of information literacy.
Check Out Policy:
Students may check out 2 books. Books are due back in 2 weeks, but students are encouraged to return at any time to get another book.
Students are required to pay for lost or damaged books. The student will be refunded if the book is returned in good condition.
Computer Lab:
Food & Drink are not allowed in the library or computer lab.
Library Happenings
Twilight Display Contest
The High School Media Center will be sponsoring the Twilight Display Contest. Students will design a poster from the Twilight Series. The posters will be displayed in the high school library . The entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, and knowledge of the topic. All entries must be turned into the library by Monday, January 26.
